I have just graduated with a masters in mathematics from the University of Warwick. After spending four years studying maths at degree level I feel more than confident in tutoring mathematics up to degree level. I also achieved all A*s at GCSE and 3 A* and a B at A Level in maths, further maths, chemistry and physics so am also able to tutor science up to GCSE level. My hobbies include playing the piano, swimming and socialising with friends.
Experience:
I gained a lot of tutoring experience in my final year of university whilst tutoring first year maths students. I am also a tutor with another online tutoring platform and run my own small tutoring business where I tutor family and friends of all ages and abilities.
My tutoring approach is enthusiastic and encouraging. I understand the students’ need for time and understanding but also like to push them to do the best that they can. I like to incorporate teaching and revision in my lessons, by going through questions first and then setting similar problems for students to try alone.
And remember, why can’t a nose can ever be 12 inches long…
Because then it would be a foot!!!
