aware of the changing curriculums of a subject and the exam board requirements of a subject.
During her medical studies she has helped her peers with subjects like Biochemistry, Histology and
Psychology.
Tutoring Approach
Her approach to teaching English is very unique. Her aim is to ensure students do not just
regurgitate the grammar they are learning and help them fully comprehend the language they are
learning. In order to practice fluency, she creates new innovative ways to practise the language
skills and grammar learnt. She understands that sometimes students are distracted and not
completely invested in the lesson. Which is why she designs her lessons and teaching methods
based on a student’s learning needs and temperament. She believes languages should be fun to
learn which in turn helps develop fluency faster. She feels that students learn faster with a friend
rather than with an authoritative figure. She allows the students to express and discuss their
opinions and thoughts during her lessons which helps her curate a better learning experience.
With Science and Psychology, Adamya knows that understanding the core concepts of the subject
is the key to memorising and scoring better during exams. After teaching a topic she practices
plenty of Practice exam questions to ensure the student has understood the concept well.
